Euro-BioImaging Tech Exchange

In March 2021, the Euro-BioImaging Industry Board launches the Tech Exchange seminar series – one hour of technology and product presentations that will provide an opportunity for imaging facilities and users in the Euro-BioImaging network to learn about new technologies and exchange on technical questions.

Selected companies from among our Industry Board members will give short presentations on a given technology or application followed by either a Q&A session or panel discussion depending on topic. Limited opportunities (single participation, short presentation slot) will be given to prospective Industry Board members to participate in the Tech Exchange irrespective of membership status.

This seminar series is part of our training offer.

Tech Exchange seminar series hosted our

1st session on 26th March 2021, 2:00pm CET!

The Euro-BioImaging Industry Board invites you to learn more about correlative multi-modal imaging technologies from some of our Board members and discuss with them your technical challenges and applications in our Q&A session!

Topics to be presented:

  • “Multimodal Imaging with Biochemical, Biophysical and Molecular Contrast using Stimulated Raman Scattering, Harmonic Generation and Fluorescence” (Volker Schweikhard – Leica Microsystems) – watch recording
  • “When Cell Biology meets Structural Biology: Imaging in the near-to-native state with ZEISS Correlative Cryo Workflow” (Alexandra Elli – Zeiss) – watch recording
  • “Photoacoustic Imaging for deep tissue imaging” (Dieter Fuchs – VisualSonics) – watch recording
  • “Workflow for Correlative Multi-modal Imaging” (Ali Chirazi – Thermo Fisher) – watch recording

followed by open Q&A.

The 2nd session is planned for 14th May 2021, 2:00pm CET!

Join us via internet: or just stay on after the Virtual Pub for another hour of Imaging Technology Exchange!

Topics to be presented:

  • “Contextual Tissue Cytometry with AI – Applications in Tumor Biology and Beyond” (Rupert Ecker – TissueGnostics GmbH)
  • “A new dawn in high-end confocal imaging from Nikon” (Herman Fennema – Nikon)
